Caesars Sportsbook Limit setting capabilities are found within your Account Settings and are subject to jurisdictional requirements.
Self-Exclusion
Effective July 24, 2019 the West Virginia Lottery Security Table Games offices located within each WV Casino may process Statewide Self-Exclusion requests made in person at the casino.
In addition, patrons may request self-exclusion in person at Lottery Headquarters in Charleston or by submitting a notarized form requesting Statewide self-exclusion from casinos and mailing it to:
West Virginia Lottery
Attn: Table Games Security
900 Pennsylvania Avenue
Charleston, WV 25302
For those who seek to self-exclude from Caesars Sportsbook sports betting only, customers can self-exclude from further wagering for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date of acknowledgement of enrollment if they feel at risk of developing gambling-related problems. Patrons may exclude directly through a sports book or by mailing in a Caesars Sportsbook Self-Exclusion form found here.
Caesars Sportsbook US Self-Exclusion program will ban the requestor from all West Virginia-based Caesars Sportsbook sports books. After twelve (12) months from the date of acknowledgement of enrollment in the program, a patron may request reinstatement of privileges, in writing, by completing a Reinstatement Form.
A patron’s request also includes the exclusion of all Caesars Sportsbook privileges, including Caesars Sportsbook Reward Card benefits, play privileges, direct mail marketing, special promotions, offers, and events via push notifications, e-mail, and other means, including SMS messaging.
The privileges are excluded for the duration of the exclusionary period. This request will be applicable at all Caesars Sportsbook owned and operated properties, including all properties that are opened or acquired after the date of the request.
Please note: At the completion of one’s Self-Exclusion period, the following actions are mandatory for consideration of reinstatement.
- A standardized letter should be sent to The Caesars Sportsbook Office of Self-Exclusion indicating one’s interest and intent to return to Caesars Sportsbooks.
- Requestors cannot be found to have breached their current Self-Exclusion agreement at any time within exclusion period.
- Only those who have fulfilled the self-exclusion term as outlined per jurisdictional requirement and adhere to items one and two shall be considered for reinstatement.
- Consideration of a request for reinstatement of privileges will occur no sooner than thirty (30) days from receipt of the properly completed and executed Reinstatement Form.

Gambling Controls page - what can I do here?
Caesars Sportsbook provides players several limit options to enjoy their gaming experiences responsibly.
–Each of the following responsible gaming options are available for players and players can use as many of the available options as they choose -
Deposit Limit – Set the maximum deposit limit for a selected time frame: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Spend Limit – Set the maximum spend (bet) limit for a selected time frame: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Daily Time Limit – Set the maximum time (measured in hours) that a player may spend playing on an Internet gaming system. Time is measured from a player’s log in to log off.
Cool Off Time Limit -Select if the player wishes to take a break from his or her account for 3 to 30 days.
The responsible gaming limits timeframes:
1. The Daily limit is set as a recurring daily limit, effective for 24 hours from midnight to midnight each day.
2. The Weekly limit is set as a recurring weekly limit, effective from Monday at midnight, as the first day of the current week, until the next Monday at midnight, and weekly thereafter.
3. The Monthly limit is set as a recurring monthly limit, effective from midnight of the first calendar day of this month until midnight of the last calendar day of this month, and monthly thereafter.
Please note that once a limit is set you may decrease it (make It more restrictive) at any time with immediate effect, but there will be a waiting period until the end of the existing limit period to increase any limits (make them less restrictive).
Any activity within a daily, weekly, or monthly limit period, including activity that occurred before a limit is set, is included when calculating deposit, spend, or daily time limits.
Self Exclusion
Caesars Sportsbook customers are able to temporarily suspend their account or self-exclude from further gaming for if they have developed gambling-related problems or feel at risk of developing gambling-related problems. You can temporarily suspend your account for any period from 3 to 180 days. Self-exclusion will ban you from any West Virginia licensed Internet gaming for a duration of 1 or 5 years and cannot be revoked. Any person requesting temporary suspension or placement on the Internet self-exclusion list shall submit his or her request through their Internet gaming account. Once your account is created, log in and go to My Account and select the “Responsible Gaming” option. A permanent self-exclusion can only be filed in person at the offices of the West Virginia Division of Gaming Enforcement.
You should be aware that casino companies might enact responsible gaming programs that are stricter than West Virginia's Self-Exclusion program for both land-based and Internet gaming. By way of example certain Atlantic City casinos may enact a Responsible Gaming Program in which persons signing up for state self-exclusion lists are banned from the organization's properties worldwide for the length of their state self-exclusion terms. Such ban could include its gaming, hotel and entertainment venues. ACCORDINGLY, YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT A CASINO, ONLINE OPERATOR OR SPORTSBOOK MAY, AS A CONSEQUENCE OF YOUR SIGNING UP FOR INTERNET SELF-EXCLUSION, BAN YOU FROM ALL OF ITS LAND BASED PROPERTIES AS WELL AS ALL OF ITS ONLINE GAMING AND ONLINE SPORTSBOOKS, EVEN THOSE IN OTHER STATES. YOU COULD ALSO FORFEIT ANY REWARDS POINTS YOU MAY HAVE EARNED IN NEW JERSEY OR ELSEWHERE. The terms and existence of any such responsible gaming program could change, and the Division is not responsible for keeping you informed of such changes.
If you want to take a break or stop playing at one or more products for any other reasons than the prevention of gambling-related problems, we also offer a service closure option available through our Customer Service support-wv@caesarssportsbook.com team.
